New Porch, Old House
This project called for a banistered porch wrapping around the front and side of a circa 1850 guest house in the East End gallery district in Provincetown. The owners wanted to enhance the privacy of the porches, while maintaining a welcoming external means of entry for their guest rooms, and to extend the social space into the front and side gardens, all in keeping with the setting and the original Greek Revival style of the house.
